EcoPeace Middle East

Job Description

There are three internships available;

Resource Development/ Administration Intern – Supervised by Resource Development Officer: Will assist in donor outreach, research on prospective donors and letters of first inquiry, and donor communication/reporting. In addition intern will write the organization’s annual report.
Research Intern – Supervised by relevant Project Coordinator: Intern will assist in research that is integrated into the organization’s ongoing projects.
Social Media Intern – Supervised by Director: Responsible for managing the organization’s blog, Facebook, Flickr, YouTube, etc. Attends events to document them for social media. Assists staff in submitting/posting through social media outlets. Serves as a bridge between the organization and external social media outlets.

Friends of the Earth Middle East (FoEME) is a unique organization that brings together Jordanian, Palestinian, and Israeli environmentalists. Their primary objective is the promotion of cooperative efforts to protect the shared environmental heritage. In so doing, FoEME seeks to advance both sustainable regional development and the creation of necessary conditions for lasting peace in our region. FoEME has offices in Amman, Bethlehem, and Tel-Aviv. FoEME is a member of Friends of the Earth International, the largest grassroots environmental organization in the world.
