Yad Izhak Ben-Zvi, established in 1969, is the institutional memorial to Izhak Ben-Zvi, the second president of Israel. It is devoted to research and education in two areas: the history of Eretz Israel, and of the Jewish communities in the East.
The Documentation Center of North African Jewry during WWII at the Ben-Zvi Institute collects materials in archives in Israel and abroad, and uploads the items to an online database, open to all in various languages.
Join our staff in exposing this historical episode, and revealing the unknown story of the Jews in Tunisia, Libya, Algeria and Morocco during the Holocaust via social media, events and research.
